The improvement of a
Manchester public footpath
In the right light this place looks like
an old fashioned country lane, with trees, wild plants,
bird life and has a lot going for it. It is a little
mini wildlife corridor amazingly in an inner city area
of a major English city, Manchester.

It's one of those places that one should
not walk through at night but in the day time it mostly
seems fine. Lots of people use it as a short cut to a
main road.

The problem has been that it appears to
have been neglected for many years, burnt out cars,
fly
tipping, a couple of muggings and goodness knows what
else in the shadows of night, basically just downright
neglect.

I know much of it is a public footpath,
but no one seems to have responsibility for it.

Hmmm, so I thought that I could do my
bit to improve it
What is my
strategy ?
